Marcus' first Camp Cut No Slack--7/26/08

For those that don't know, every year the DeMoura family invites us up to their home to camp out and have a great time for the weekend. Everyone begins to arrive on Friday afternoon/night and by Saturday everyone is ready for a good time! This year we weren't able to stay overnight (the thought of camping with a 3 month old didn't seem too smart) so we went up for the day. We had a great time, however, it was quite hot and Baby Marcus doesn't really like the heat right now. Here are some pictures from the great day!

We can't wait for next year's Camp Cut No Slack, we will definitely be there for the night! Marcus will be running around the camp fire, and sleeping in a tent for the first time...

First Blog

This is the first time I've done anything like this...so have patience with me! :)

I thought it would be nice to have a place to blog about our new family (mainly Marcus as he is the most interesting of the bunch!). He's growing so fast and we know so many people would love to be around more to see him, but can't be, so I thought this may be a way for us to keep everyone posted.

Marcus is 15 weeks old today (3 1/2 months)! I can't believe how fast time is flying by. It really does feel like yesterday that we were in the hospital. He is getting so big. He's about 17.5 lbs now (yes...he's a big boy!). I'm excited to go to the doctor in a few weeks and find out what he weighs in at and how tall he has gotten. He has started trying to sit up, although he can't quite do it by himself yet. He is mesmerized by food and anyone eating around him (we are hoping to start him on solid foods by his next Dr's appointment!) He is laughing and "talking" all the time now and he definitely recognizing familiar faces! I'll post some recent pictures of him later or tomorrow, but if at anytime you want to see more, just go to http://mollers.shutterfly.com/ and you can see them all.

I think that's it for now. I will leave you with these cute pictures from last week.
